DTU Nanotech is seeking a part time (20 hours per week) Personal Assistant to support the group leader of the Nano Bio Integrated System (NaBIS) group. Joining NaBIS as a Personal assistant, you will become a member of the dynamic research team in the fields of nanotechnology and biomedical applications. You will work closely together with the group leader to ensure that the dedicated international team of researchers achieves its objectives and goals.

The position is initially for 12 months, starting 1 September 2017.

The Job 
As a PA you will assist the group leader in planning and managing projects. Tasks include: 

  • Manage and organize project milestones and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and co-write applications for research funding, including background literature search.
  • Facilitate and take minutes of meetings.
  • Coordinate and update NaBIS outreach, homepage, LinkedIn etc.
  • Ad hoc tasks.

Professional qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who: 

  • Has strong capabilities in project management and excellent organization skills
  • Prepares for meetings well in advance and keeps clear records and summarize discussions accurately
  • Has good methodological abilities with a good eye for detail
  • Is proactive with eye for opportunities, funding opportunities, collaborations etc.
  • Has strong communication skills in Danish and English (written and oral)

Personal qualifications 
We are looking for a candidate who: 

  • Has a strong personal drive and a positive can-do attitude
  • Is detailed in planning and execution while keeping an overview 
  • Has relational skills that allows you to build strong relations
  • Is open-minded, dynamic and a strong team player
  • Has interest in applied nanotechnology and biology in medical diagnostic and environmental monitoring
