Teaching in micro- and nanofabrication is an important activity at DTU Nanotech and we provide and promote education in micro- and nanofabrication to all lines of study at DTU. DTU Nanotech has currently a full range of courses in this field and will continue to develop this line of courses.
The courses cover all aspects of design and fabrication of micro- and nanostructures and provide the students with a solid theoretical foundation and understanding of the technology. This is complemented by practical training in the clean room where students learn how to fabricate and characterise micro- and nanostructures. This practical training is an important part of the Bachelor and Master projects where students typically are able to cover the full process cycle of design, fabrication, characterisation, and use of micro- and nanostructures.
