FET Open CSA for Professor Anders Kristensen, DTU Nanotech

Anders Kristensen has received 99.000 EUR from the European Commission’s Future and Emerging Technology (FET Open) programme for a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) project with the title Digital resonant laser printing for mass customization of flat optics - DELIGHT.

DELIGHT will take a research result from a previous FET Open project – Chromavision – further towards commercialization. In Chromavision, DTU developed a nanoscale laser printing technique for flat optics, which is used for small devices where size and weight is crucial. This new method can drastically reduce the production costs of smaller quantities of flat optical components and even allows for customized solutions for each customer’s specific needs.

Anders Kristensen and colleagues at DTU Nanotech will collaborate with B&H Power Consultants to bring the new technology to the market.
